Proximity Card Reader ASR-802/M

ASR-802/M reader is dedicated for operation in access control systems based on MIFARE® proximity cards. This technology is a high security level technology therefore ASR-802/M readers are often used in banks or offices.

The reader was designed to cooperate with SD-460, SD-560, SD-660, SD-2600 or SD-108 UNICARD S.A. controllers, but it is provided with standard ABA Track II and Wiegand communication interfaces and can cooperate with other producer’s controllers. The format of reader output data can be adapted to individual needs of a customer. In typical applications the reader can be installed up to 30m away from the cooperating driver. The reader hosing consists of two separate parts: an internal and external one. All electronic elements of the reader are mounted within the internal housing and are immersed in a chemically hardening resin. The external housing is only a decorative one. The external housing is made of a durable ABS plastic - various colours are available. As the housing is split into two parts, the external part can be replaced as wished, without taking a reader off the wall. ASR-802/M can operate both indoors and outdoors. The reader is low temperatures resistant and it is secured against direct precipitation. The cover was made of very durable ABS material. Installing a heating system inside the device is an option. Access control systems that use the ASR-802/M readers can be integrated with other access control systems like alarm systems or fire control systems.
